Guests appreciate the easy access to local attractions and amenities, most within a ten-minute walk and the proximity of the ski bus and Geigenbühel ski area. Its strategic position also allows for convenient trips to Innsbruck, 30 kilometers away, making it an ideal base for exploring the Tirol region.
**Breakfast:** The breakfast experience at Alpenhof is widely praised for its variety and quality with a Swedish-style buffet featuring a range of cereals, yogurts, sausages, cheeses and more. Guests frequently commend the breakfast as very good, delicious and abundant. Positive remarks also highlight the accommodating staff and the scenic views from the breakfast area, enhancing the overall experience.
**Rooms:** Guests generally appreciate the spaciousness and comfort of the rooms, often highlighting their large size, clean state and quaint furnishings with wooden elements. Although some critiques mention outdated aspects like worn carpets and minor maintenance issues, the rooms' aesthetic appeal and the amazing balconies contribute to a positive stay. Cleanliness is consistently noted with many rooms meeting guests' expectations for comfort and beauty.
**Cleanliness:** While most reviews commend the hotel for its cleanliness, describing the rooms as spotlessly clean and well-maintained, there are occasional comments on minor issues such as dust, mold in bathrooms and worn linens. Though there are occasional mentions of overwhelmed staff affecting efficiency and some isolated incidents of rudeness, the overall sentiment towards the staff is positive, enhancing the hotel's appeal.
**Beds:** Feedback on the beds at Alpenhof is mixed. While many guests find the beds comfortable and in good condition, others criticize the mattresses for being worn out and uncomfortable. Issues with bed softness, pillows and room temperature are also noted. Despite these criticisms, the spaciousness of the rooms adds to the comfort for many visitors.
