At the Herbert Samuel The Reef Eilat, the pool experience offers a mix of reviews but leans toward positive remarks. The pool is praised for being clean and inviting with many guests noting its pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. Although it's small, the cozy environment and well-maintained pool area make it a welcoming spot for guests. The hotel also features a charming lifeguard and the surrounding vegetation adds to the ambiance.
Despite its size, the pool is often described as adequate for a refreshing dip and its proximity to the beach offers convenient access for a combined pool and beach experience. The private pool options received positive feedback with some guests upgrading their rooms to enjoy this luxury. However, the main pool needs some maintenance and upgrades and comments about it being neglected indicate room for improvement. Additionally, the pool not being heated was a common concern with several mentioning it can be quite cold.
The pool's free amenities, like chairs and the adjacent beach enhance its appeal. Although the poolside bar's limited operation to weekends may be a minor inconvenience, overall, the pool provides a good value for the price, adding to the tranquil and intimate setting of the hotel facilities.
