My Blue Hotel presents a contrast between its strong potential and areas that require attention. Guests are enamored with the hotel's beautiful architecture, charming atmosphere, and abundance of flowers. The service provided is consistently praised as impeccable, contributing significantly to the guest experience. Amenities such as the food, staff, and pools receive high acclaim, elevating the hotel's appeal.
However, the hotel's claim to a four-star rating is questioned by several guests, mainly due to maintenance issues and outdated facilities. Aspects like aging comforters and the need for more comprehensive renovations detract from the overall experience. Some areas have been updated over time, yet certain details reveal the hotel's age and require further care. Additionally, the lack of promised ocean views due to ongoing construction disappoints visitors.
Despite these shortcomings, guests find that the positives, including the aesthetic charm and quality service, create a pleasant environment. With focused improvements, My Blue Hotel has the potential to meet the expectations of its star rating more consistently.
