The Best Western Shalimar Praia Hotel offers comfortable and well-maintained whirlpool and jacuzzi facilities, which many guests have found to be a standout amenity of their stay. The jacuzzis are described as good-sized and very clean, providing an enjoyable experience overall. The water temperature in the hot tub is generally warm and pleasant with some mentioning specific heated whirlpool areas near the bar being a highlight.
However, there are some areas for improvement. Several guests noted that the whirlpool pool tends to be cold and the temperature of the jacuzzi doesn't always live up to expectations. The hot tub service is available but could benefit from enhancements, as it is only operational from 4 pm and often gets crowded.
Despite these minor drawbacks, the hotel’s thermal features, including the hot tub and jacuzzi, are popular among guests, making it an attractive option for visitors seeking relaxation. The hotel does make an effort to keep the whirlpool area in excellent condition, ensuring guests can enjoy their stay with these amenities.
