The Ritz-Carlton Kyoto is a great place for tourists with a fantastic location. The staff are efficient and polite, providing great service to guests. Rooms are well-appointed with good amenities and it's a shame there aren't more shops on site besides Pierre Hermé. While some guests noted that some of the male staff could use a bit more training, overall the service was outstanding. The staff are friendly, accommodating and go above and beyond to make sure guests feel comfortable. The hotel is very welcoming with a great atmosphere and lovely smells throughout.
