The expansive green areas around the pool contribute to a pleasant and relaxing atmosphere, making it a prime spot for families and leisure seekers alike.
The hotel boasts both outdoor and indoor pools with the outdoor pool often regarded as one of the best features of the property. Visitors appreciate its spaciousness and the comfort it provides, although it's worth noting that the pool is not exclusive to hotel guests, which can make it feel crowded at times. Despite this, the pool area remains well-maintained and inviting with dedicated children's areas that are particularly popular among families.
The service at the pool is excellent with staff ensuring that guests' needs are met. The addition of a new exterior pool complements the already existing central pool, enhancing the swimming experience. The hotel's garden views combined with the pool create a delightful setting, perfect for relaxation and enjoyment. The pool area of Costa del Sol Trujillo Centro consistently garners positive feedback from guests. Described as beautiful, lovely and well-maintained, the outdoor swimming pool is a favorite spot for many to relax. The courtyard surrounding the pool adds to the pleasant atmosphere with some mentioning that the music played around the pool enhances their relaxation. Families noted that children particularly enjoyed the pool, which is deemed one of the best in Trujillo.
However, the pool has a few downsides. The restricted hours from 10am to 6pm are a common complaint with guests wishing for an extended schedule. Additionally, the pool is not heated, leading to cold water temperatures that deter some from using it, especially during colder months. Despite being well-maintained and clean, the limited availability of sun loungers and the occasional unclean state of the pool area are pointed out as areas needing improvement.
In summary, while the pool at Costa del Sol Trujillo Centro offers a charming retreat and contributes significantly to the hotel's appeal, adjustments in its schedule and temperature could enhance the overall guest experience.

The Delfines de Chicama Hotel offers a stunning location with breathtaking views, particularly enjoyed from the comfort of the room's balcony. While the natural scenery and reasonably priced, delicious food enhance the overall experience, the hotel's pool has garnered mixed impressions from guests. Described as a nice extra and fun by some, concerns about cleanliness and maintenance were prevalent, with reports of cloudy water and algae growth on the pool floor. The lack of regular upkeep, especially in the off-season, affected its usability at times. Visitors also noted an occasional absence of bar service by the pool, requiring them to leave the area for refreshments. Despite these setbacks, many appreciated the relaxing environment the pool area offers, even though more consistent attention to its upkeep would significantly improve the guest experience.
