Summary of reviews related to the 'Parking' category
Summarized by AI
Midland Hotel receives frequent praise from guests for its ample and convenient parking facilities. Visitors appreciate the availability of plenty of free parking spaces, which are particularly noted for being easy to find and in close proximity to the hotel's amenities. The car park is described as large with good-sized spaces making parking straightforward and hassle-free. These positive aspects contribute significantly to the overall convenience of staying at the hotel.
However, there is a notable exception - guests who did not book directly through the hotel reported having to pay a substantial daily fee for parking. This charge is often mentioned as being unexpectedly high with some finding the £12 per day fee to be quite steep and even inappropriate. Despite this, the provision of free parking for direct bookings is seen as a considerable advantage and a bonus for many guests.
While the parking situation generally receives positive feedback, there are some points of concern. For example, the car park can become busy and securing a space is not always guaranteed, especially as it's also used by non-residents. Additionally, a few guests mentioned the lack of designated parking for disabled visitors.
Overall, the Midland Hotel’s parking facilities are largely viewed as a strong asset, provided the booking is made directly to avoid additional fees.

Guests at Boulevard Hotel have shared a range of views about the parking facilities. While many appreciated the security of the hotel's car park, consistently describing it as secure, some felt the parking was both expensive and lacking in value. There were numerous mentions of the daily parking fee, which proved to be a common point of contention, ranging around £15 to £18 per night. Many guests believed that the cost should be included in the room price.
Another issue was the limited number of parking spaces with some visitors needing to use an overflow car park which was often described as being far away. Despite these challenges, a few guests did highlight the ample and easily accessible parking, though it appears this experience was less common.
In summary, while the hotel offers secure parking, guests frequently found it to be expensive and often insufficient in availability, suggesting the need for either an included parking fee or improved capacity.

Guests often highlight that parking is not a problem due to the lack of restrictions on the promenade, setting a welcoming tone compared to other hotels. There is additional parking available at the back of the hotel, though it's a tighter fit and can be challenging for larger vehicles. Despite it being a smaller and less secure area, it serves as a practical alternative. Some reviews note that reserved parking expectations weren't met, marking a minor inconsistency. The Big Blue Hotel - Blackpool Pleasure Beach offers on-site parking, which is a point of contention among guests. While the convenience of having a car park adjacent to the hotel is appreciated, many find the parking fees to be exorbitant. The charges typically range from £18 to £20 per night, depending on whether the booking was made directly through the hotel or via a third party, with direct bookings offering a slightly reduced rate. Despite some guests finding the fees reasonable given the ease and security of parking, others feel the price is excessive, especially when staying for multiple nights or comparing it to lower-cost options nearby.
The hotel's location near Blackpool Pleasure Beach is a definite advantage, providing easy access to attractions. However, guests have noted that the parking fees can add a substantial extra cost to their stay, sometimes eclipsing other local parking options that offer more economical rates. Moreover, availability can be limited, making it challenging for guests to find a guaranteed spot, particularly during peak times.
Despite the high parking fees, reviews often highlight the politeness of the parking staff and the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel itself, offering a positive overall experience. However, the cost of parking remains a significant consideration for guests, and it influences their overall perception of value when staying at the hotel.
