Le Strasbourg Hotel, often promoted as a three-star establishment, faces numerous criticisms regarding its facilities and services. Many guests found it severely lacking in several areas expected of a three-star hotel, such as air conditioning, adequate lighting and proper insulation. Complaints included limited space availability and poorly maintained, unclean rooms with shabby furnishings, which detract from the overall comfort. The hotel's association with a three-star rating has been questioned by several reviewers with many suggesting it feels more like a one or two-star establishment at best.
The lack of modern amenities such as refrigerators, combined with non-smoking rooms that still emit bad odors, further compromised guest experience. Persistent noise issues, such as slamming doors and an insufficient breakfast offer, were also highlighted. Specifically, the ground floor, elevator and staircase areas did not meet the expected standards for a three-star hotel.
Though the hotel offers the convenience of an attached garage, some found the garage elevator inconveniently cramped for families. Overall, guests indicated that the price they paid did not reflect the quality or amenities received, leading to dissatisfaction and a reluctance to recommend the hotel.
While the hotel claims to meet three-star criteria, the numerous negative reviews suggest it falls short in several key areas, thereby impacting guest satisfaction.

Brit Hotel Montpellier Parc Expo presents itself as a three-star property but falls short of typical expectations for this rating. Various reviews highlight a mismatch between advertised standards and reality with a sentiment that the hotel appears to be more akin to a one-star facility in terms of service and conditions. Guests frequently mention that the hotel does not meet the cleanliness and maintenance standards expected from a three-star establishment.
While some guests appreciate that dogs are welcome, issues such as erratic hot water and inadequate room decor detract from the overall experience. The general consensus suggests that the hotel needs significant improvements, especially regarding cleanliness and maintenance, to truly match the three-star rating it claims.
