Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Château du Baffy, nestled in a tranquil rural setting, provides a charming escape with its picturesque green surroundings and historical allure. Its location is ideal for those interested in exploring the nearby Normandy beaches, offering a serene retreat just a short drive from the coastline. The enchanting environment, enhanced by a magnificent old building and a park, is complemented by attentive and friendly staff, making for a memorable stay.
Guests generally appreciate the breakfast experience, which is well-received for its good continental spread served in a beautiful dining area. Although there are some mixed feelings about its consistency and variety, the breakfast contributes to a pleasant start to the day. It's important to note that breakfast is charged separately, and while some improvements could be made, the staff's pleasant demeanor enhances the dining experience.
The accommodations at Château du Baffy are basic, reflecting a rustic charm that aligns with the building's historic character. However, rooms can feel compact and dormitory-like, lacking in storage space, and exhibiting signs of wear. Cleanliness standards vary, with some guests finding the property adequately clean while others note areas needing more attention, especially in bathrooms.
The dedicated and warm staff at Château du Baffy receive consistent praise, with notable mentions for their friendliness and eagerness to assist. Guests feel welcomed and well-cared for throughout their stay, with standout service from team members like Kaja. English proficiency among the staff is appreciated, though there are suggestions for improving communication by phone.
The comfort of the beds also presents a mixed experience, with some guests enjoying restful nights and others finding the beds hard or less comfortable. While there are positive aspects regarding the bed comfort, potential guests may want to consider these reviews when planning their stay. Overall, Château du Baffy offers a peaceful and rustic retreat, with a few areas for potential improvement.

Summary of reviews related to the 'Parking' category
Summarized by AI
Parking at Hostellerie Saint Martin - Logis Hôtel et Restaurant offers some convenient options for guests, despite certain limitations. The hotel provides private parking facilities, which are a definite advantage, including off-street parking that is free of charge. Some guests appreciated the secure, covered parking as a bonus, especially given recent road works in the surrounding streets. While on-site parking might be limited and cannot be pre-booked, the ease of finding street parking near the hotel mitigates this issue for many visitors. Overall, guests found the parking situation practical and accommodating, although it may not be sufficient for everyone during peak times.
