La Palma Princess is a beautiful and well-maintained location, despite some guests feeling that it falls short of its 4-star rating. Some guests were dissatisfied with the breakfast selection, particularly the unripe fruit and found that the coffee machines were not up to standard. Other guests were disappointed by the lack of attention to detail when it came to restocking items at breakfast. There were also some unexpected incidents, such as a mouse on one of the balconies during breakfast, which left some guests unhappy with how the situation was handled. Despite these drawbacks, the hotel is generally comfortable and convenient and some guests found alternative dining options outside the hotel to be enjoyable. While some feel that the hotel has some way to go to truly earn a 4-star rating, it nonetheless remains a pleasant place to stay.

Summary of reviews related to the '4 Star' category
Summarized by AI
Esencia de La Palma by Princess - Adults Only is a holiday resort that features four-star aesthetics and an abundant quality buffet, similar to what is expected from a four-star establishment. However, visitors have noted that despite the appealing physical environment, the service and overall experience did not fulfill the expectations for a hotel of its advertised caliber. Guests felt that the service level did not match the price they paid, as certain amenities such as fresh coffee in the morning were not readily available, which contributed to perceptions of two- or three-star quality rather than the promised four stars. While the sheer size of the resort, with around 850 rooms, might contribute to this discrepancy, it remains evident that some guests were left wanting a more refined experience that would truly reflect its four-star designation.
