Mercure Rennes Centre Place Bretagne offers parking options that many guests found beneficial, especially with its location in the city center. The availability of underground, on-site and private parking in the courtyard is often highlighted positively. Secure parking is another notable feature appreciated by guests.
However, the parking facilities are not without their challenges. The underground parking is frequently described as narrow and difficult to access, particularly unsuitable for larger vehicles. The ease of parking varies with some guests finding the access complicated due to various factors such as roadworks and a tight parking structure. Despite these issues, the on-site and nearby parking options are often preferred over more expensive public alternatives.
Overall, while the convenience of having parking at the hotel is a significant plus, the actual execution could be improved to accommodate larger vehicles and ensure easier access.

Hôtel Anne De Bretagne offers a variety of parking options, appealing mostly to those with smaller vehicles. The hotel features an underground garage, which provides a secure and private space for guests to park their cars. However, the garage tends to be quite narrow, requiring careful navigation and skilled driving, especially for larger vehicles. The parking availability is good but somewhat limited and can become quite tight, making it less suitable for SUVs or larger cars.
Paid parking is offered at a reasonable rate and there are several parking options nearby. While some guests appreciated the convenience of having onsite parking, others found the access to be complicated and the spaces quite small. For those driving smaller cars, the underground garage met expectations and provided a safe place to leave their vehicles.
Booking in advance is recommended as the parking spots can fill up quickly and availability may be limited. Overall, despite some challenges with tight spaces and entry points, the parking facilities are generally well-received, offering a convenient solution in close proximity to the city center.

Hotel Des Lices, Rennes Centre is widely praised for its prime location in the historic heart of Rennes, offering convenient access to key attractions, public transportation, dining and shopping options. The central positioning near the Congress Palace and Place Des Lices enhances its appeal for tourists wishing to explore the vibrant city. The hotel combines a fantastic location with friendly and helpful staff, adding to the appeal for visitors.
The breakfast at Hotel Des Lices, Rennes Centre receives positive remarks for its variety and quality, featuring an ample selection of sweet and savory items, fresh fruit and multiple types of bread. Guests appreciate the inclusion of toast and coffee without extra charges. However, there are criticisms regarding the size of the breakfast room and occasional lapses in the freshness and quality of specific items. Some guests also found the breakfast to be overpriced.
Rooms are well-maintained, immaculately clean and provide a comfortable stay. However, they are generally small with particularly cramped bathrooms and tiny showers. Superior rooms offer more quietness and beautiful city views, though they still require improvement in size and furnishings. The logistical challenges, such as a small lift and stairs, are mitigated by 24/7 reception service and the quiet ambiance of courtyard-facing rooms.
Cleanliness is a significant strength of Hotel Des Lices, Rennes Centre with many guests commending the spotless state of rooms and bathrooms. While there are occasional reports of dirty windows or unclean rooms upon arrival, the overall feedback emphasizes a well-maintained environment, enhancing the comfort of the stay.
The staff at Hotel Des Lices, Rennes Centre is a standout feature, consistently praised for their kindness, attentiveness and professionalism. Guests highlight their helpful and accommodating nature, which markedly improves the overall guest experience and creates a welcoming atmosphere.
The WiFi service at the hotel, however, tends to be unreliable and unstable, which has been a point of concern for many guests, particularly suggesting the need for better connectivity in individual rooms rather than just common areas.
Regarding beds, most guests find them very comfortable, appreciating the quality of the bedding. However, there are some mixed reviews with a few guests finding the mattresses too hard or the single beds too narrow, reflecting individual preferences for bedding firmness.
Despite its exceptional location and friendly service, Hotel Des Lices, Rennes Centre has been critiqued for not fully living up to its three-star rating. The facilities and rooms are considered somewhat outdated and the common areas small, leading to a perception that the price may be high for the value offered. Nonetheless, its prime location and overall cleanliness make it a decent choice for many travelers.
