NH Lecco Pontevecchio is commonly praised for its cleanliness, tidiness and modernity, aligning well with its four-star designation. However, guest experiences have been mixed regarding whether the hotel fully lives up to this rating. While many reviews commend it as a noteworthy and authentic four-star hotel, there are recurring criticisms about specific areas that do not meet four-star expectations.
Some guests pointed out issues with room and bathroom maintenance, such as stained furniture and insufficient bathroom accessories, which they felt were below the standard for a four-star establishment. Additionally, the lack of basic amenities like a kettle in the rooms and private parking seemed unusual for a hotel with such a rating.
Service quality, especially during breakfast, also received mixed reviews. Although the breakfast options were available, the arrangement and staff efficiency did not always meet the expected standards for a four-star hotel. Some felt that other services and facilities could be expanded to better match the four-star promise.
Despite these shortcomings, NH Lecco Pontevecchio is recognized as a good city hotel, offering a generally comfortable stay with clean and modern rooms. It remains a solid choice for travelers, though some guests suggested improvements are needed to fully justify its four-star status.
