Alemannenhof - Boutique Hotel am Titisee offers a lovely, traditional German/SchwarzWald experience, but some guests have questioned the validity of its four-star rating. While the breakfast buffet is copious, some guests felt that the hotel did not live up to the standards of a four-star establishment. A few have noted that the amenities, such as the swimming pool and dishes used for breakfast, need an upgrade. However, others appreciated the personal touch and connection offered by boutique hotels but felt that Alemannenhof did not quite deliver on this front and the service did not match the four-star status. The hotel's pricing is steeper and some guests felt that they did not get their money's worth and for the price, they expected more. Some have also questioned the business standards, which are typically seen in budget hotels rather than a four-star establishment.

Hotel Schlehdorn is a modern and clean hotel, exuding an authentic vibe. The hotel's restaurant lives up to its 4-star rating with various original and beautifully presented dishes. A striking hotel that truly deserves its four stars. The hotel's interior is tastefully elegant without being too flashy. Guests had nothing to complain about during their stay, as everything was perfect. However, some guests assert that white tablecloths would be a nice touch in a four-star hotel. One guest thought that the bathroom was too old-fashioned for a four-star hotel, while another believed that the hotel was not yet in the four-star category. The restaurant and drink prices are a bit higher than those at other nearby wellness hotels with at least four stars. Although the hotel had a few areas for improvement, it had a decent beginning as some rooms still needed to be built.
