Appart'City Classic Lyon Part-Dieu receives mixed reviews from its guests, with several pointing out discrepancies in its star rating, largely indicating that the establishment falls short of its advertised four stars. Many guests feel that the hotel aligns more with a two- or three-star standard due to various issues related to its facilities and services. The rooms are described as dated and worn, with visible wear and tear, including dirty carpets and stained upholstery. Several reviewers mention the lack of renovations and cosmetic repairs needed to uplift the hotel's overall appearance.
Despite the criticism, a common sentiment is that the hotel provides comfortable beds and offers a fair value for money for a short stay in Lyon. The service level meets the basic expectations of a three-star experience but doesn't match the advertised four-star status. Appart'City Classic is noted as an apart-hotel, and guests are advised not to expect the full range of hotel services typically associated with higher star ratings.
Overall, for those seeking a budget-friendly option with decent accommodations in Lyon, this apart-hotel might serve well, albeit with awareness of its limitations as highlighted in guest reviews.

The Ibis Styles Lyon Villeurbanne Parc de la Tête d'Or garners mixed reviews regarding its three-star status and overall facilities. The hotel has been comfortable enough for those who had previous stays, meeting their expectations while noting the friendliness and niceness of the staff. However, many guests have expressed disappointment, mentioning that the hotel does not match its three-star category and comparing it unfavorably to other Ibis Styles locations, even suggesting it feels more like an Ibis Budget. Criticisms focus on outdated room conditions, barely acceptable cleanliness and superficial accessories and furnishings considered inadequate for a three-star hotel. While the staff remains a positive highlight, the overall quality and aging appearance of the hotel leave much to be desired for several visitors.

Apparthotel Privilodges Lyon Lumière presents itself as a three-star accommodation, although some guests note that it doesn't quite meet the expectations typically associated with this rating. While the hotel offers a price point that some consider good value, there are mixed opinions about the facilities and services provided. The establishment is generally seen as appropriate for a brief stopover rather than an extended stay due to its overall need for modernization. Several aspects, such as the aging showers and cooking plates, could benefit from updates to enhance guest comfort. Instances of non-functional equipment, including issues with hot water, have also been reported, detracting from the experience. Despite these concerns, the hotel manages to offer a reasonable quality-to-price ratio for budget-conscious travelers.
