Wave Resort offers a great culinary experience with a restaurant and coffee shop located on the ground floor. Breakfast may not be an option as there are no complimentary breakfasts provided, but the resort offers a Starbucks with microwavable sandwiches and some grab-and-go options. While there were some complaints of dry donuts, guests were impressed with the wide range of choices during breakfast. For those looking to grab breakfast somewhere else, the hotel's location was perfect with various options nearby. However, some guests did mention the need for a working bar and breakfast option on the property. Though the resort charges for extras like bottled water, guests pointed out the lack of free fountains for refilling water bottles that most hotels have. The outdoor pool is also heated, making it perfect for all year round stays. The pretty pool with waitress service is a great place to relax, though some guests noted that it could use a little more cleaning throughout the day. However, one thing that guests love about the pool is the complimentary chairs they receive for being a guest at the resort. The pet-friendly rooms and facilities are a great bonus and drinks by the pool are phenomenal. While some guests found the pool area a bit rundown and small for a "resort" billing, others loved the pool overlooking the beach and the awesome service provided. However, it's worth noting that there are NO swimming hours after 8 pm, which some guests found to be a letdown, especially since the pool is listed as one of the major amenities included with the room stay.
