Knights Inn Ashland is praised for its prime location, offering convenience and accessibility to various dining options, parks, and local attractions, making it an excellent choice for travelers exploring the tristate area. The hotel is particularly favored for its peaceful surroundings and the friendly attitude of the staff. The location's quiet atmosphere, despite its central position, is appreciated by families and those seeking serenity at an affordable rate.
The staff at Knights Inn Ashland receive consistently positive reviews for their exceptional friendliness and helpful nature. Guests frequently describe their interactions with the team, especially at the front desk, as welcoming and considerate, significantly enhancing their overall stay. Despite minor exceptions, the staff's hospitality is a highlight, leaving a lasting impression on visitors.
However, reviews of the rooms present a mixed picture. While some guests have experienced newly remodeled, clean rooms with comfortable beds, others have encountered issues such as unpleasant odors, cleanliness concerns, and outdated furnishings. Problems like booking errors, room availability discrepancies, and noise disturbances have also been mentioned, impacting the satisfaction of some visitors. Safety concerns have prompted early checkouts for a few guests.
Cleanliness remains a primary concern, with some guests reporting dirt, trash, and bugs in their rooms, though others have commended the clean environments and attentive service from the staff. Instances of untidiness in communal areas suggest a need for more consistent maintenance and care.
Bed experiences at the hotel are varied, with some guests appreciating their comfort, while others faced discomfort due to the condition of the beds and bedding. Concerns such as bed bugs, hard mattresses, and flat pillows were noted, indicating that room updates could enhance guest satisfaction.
Overall, Knights Inn Ashland offers a convenient location and a warm staff experience, but there is room for improvement in room conditions, cleanliness, and bedding to ensure a consistently pleasant stay for all guests.
