Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort is located in a beautiful setting with stunning views and convenient parking. The breakfast and dinner experiences were mixed with some guests praising the quality of food while others found it overpriced and lacking in options. The rooms were a mixed bag of comfort with some guests finding them in need of an upgrade and others finding them spacious and well-appointed. The cleanliness and staff experiences were also mixed with some guests reporting high levels of cleanliness and friendly, helpful staff while others found areas in need of deep cleaning and staff to be rude and uninviting. The hotel's spa and golf facilities were generally praised, but the pool area could get noisy and busy. Families with kids appreciated the amenities, although some felt let down by the menu at the restaurant. The hotel is also an option for business travelers, but improvements in the dining experience are needed, as well as better noise isolation in the rooms. Overall, the Macdonald Hill Valley Hotel, Spa & Golf Resort has potential for a pleasant stay in a picturesque location with some improvements needed in various areas.
