Amada Hotel Siracusa offers a serene and strategically beneficial location in a residential area, ideal for travelers with vehicles seeking a tranquil retreat with easy access to Syracuse and Ortigia. The hotel's breakfast generally receives positive feedback for its range of fresh homemade options, though some improvements could enhance guest satisfaction. The rooms are praised for their spaciousness, modern design, and cleanliness, despite minor issues with sound insulation and some discomfort with the shower dimensions and bedding.
Cleanliness is a standout feature of the hotel, with consistently high standards maintained throughout the building and in the inviting pool area. The staff at Amada Hotel Siracusa significantly contributes to the positive experience, being friendly, attentive, and dedicated to providing exceptional service. While the hotel's enchanting pool adds to its charm, the comfort of the beds can be subjective, with some guests noting issues with mattress firmness and size. Overall, Amada Hotel Siracusa's combination of a peaceful location, impressive cleanliness, and outstanding service makes it a favored choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and welcoming stay in the region.

Residence Royal is highly praised for its strategic location that balances accessibility and convenience, making it an excellent choice for remote workers and travelers exploring Syracuse. Positioned slightly outside the downtown area, the residence offers easy access to significant landmarks such as the Greek theater and historic center of Ortigia. The friendly and welcoming staff contribute positively to the atmosphere, with their willingness to provide assistance and valuable advice enhancing the overall guest experience.
Guests appreciate the spacious apartments, ideal for families or groups, offering separate living and sleeping areas that provide ample room and security due to its location near a police station. The availability of private internal parking is a highlight, adding convenience and peace of mind. Parking facilities are well-managed, offering secure and ample spaces within the premises, contributing significantly to a stress-free stay.
However, there are areas where Residence Royal falls short, notably in cleanliness and decor. The residence shows signs of wear and tear, and the interior decor is outdated, which could benefit from modernization. Cleaning services have been reported to be insufficient, with issues such as dust and untidiness needing urgent attention. Despite these challenges, the staff's commitment to excellent service stands out, providing a supportive environment for guests, underscored by the notable hospitality of the night porter, Peppe.
Overall, while Residence Royal offers outstanding service, spacious accommodations, and exceptional parking facilities, increased attention to cleanliness and maintenance could further improve the guest experience.
