The beachfront villas and Bures are very private and quiet and the beachfront Bures have a beautiful design. The rooms are wonderfully spacious and clean with a lovely interior design. Despite being expensive, the resort still offers its guests an amazing, private and beautiful vacation spot.

Although some guests have noticed a little bit of rubbish lying around and a few flies buzzing around, the overall cleanliness of the resort is commendable. However, guests have noted some issues with room cleaning during their stay, such as hair not being picked up off the floor and towels not being changed. Some guests have also suggested the need for more towels and a rubber mat or handle bar in the showers to prevent slips and falls. Additionally, some guests have encountered problems with toilets not working on several occasions.

Matamanoa Island Resort is a little slice of paradise in the Pacific with a stunningly beautiful beach perfect for snorkelling. The water is clear and calm and guests can snorkel straight off the beach and discover amazing sea life. The local reef is great for snorkelling with fabulous coral and plenty of opportunities to discover. Despite wind, snorkelling off the back side of the island is pretty decent and the resort runs regular snorkelling outings & trips. The beach front villas are very remote and quiet and have the best view to the nearby islands. The beach itself is exceptional, stunning and perfect for swimming with direct beach access for snorkelling. Overall, Matamanoa Island Resort offers a lovely escape with great location, excellent facilities and an amazing beach that guests love.
