Holiday Inn Club Vacations Williamsburg Resort offers a range of pool options, including an indoor saltwater pool that guests loved. The club house, where the pools are located, has great amenities that guests enjoyed, like bowling and mini-golf. However, some guests felt that the pools were too small and the outdoor pool was seasonal and closed during their stay. Some guests also expressed disappointment that the indoor pool was closed for repairs or that COVID-19 restrictions limited pool use. Despite these setbacks, many guests still appreciated the top-notch facilities at this hotel and the accessibility of the pool, which was the only complimentary amenity among all the other activities. Though some guests would have liked more comfort options, like a hot tub, they still enjoyed their stay overall.

The indoor pool at Homewood Suites Williamsburg is a great addition to the hotel amenities with some guests enjoying it very much. Though there were some negative comments about the cleanliness and temperature of the pool, it seems that the hotel staff were working to maintain the water clarity. Due to COVID-19 restrictions, the pool was unfortunately closed during some guests' stays, which was disappointing for families with children. However, the hotel's spacious rooms and convenient location near Bush Gardens were appreciated by many.

Club Wyndham Kingsgate boasts a great place for families to relax and have a blast with their heated indoor and outdoor pool(s) all year round. The pool area is really nice with the pool and hot tub being great spots to enjoy, especially for kids who will love the pool activities. Guests can also play some putt-putt while taking a break from swimming. The property offers all the nice things to do like arcade rooms, miniature golf, outdoor gaming area and more! However, pools were a bit crowded at times during our stay. The outdoor pools are great, large and heated with convenient operating hours, making them perfect for a dip in the morning or an after-dinner swim. The pools have great hours and guests love the on-site arcade and pool party. During a storm, the Thunder only shut down both indoor and outdoor pool for hours (though guests saw no lightning). Still, the indoor pool and outdoor pool were a hit with abundant towels. Moreover, it’s a nice place to relax - close to everything and with security.

Kingsmill Resort offers a stunning property with plenty of amenities for families to enjoy. The pools are amazing with a lazy river and water slide that are perfect for kids to unwind and relax while adults can take advantage of the adult pools. The views are spectacular and the heated pool and indoor pool make it possible to have fun in the water no matter the weather. There is also a nice bar on site by the pool that offers plenty of food options. The only downside is that the pool can get very crowded at times. If you need to relax and unwind, the spa is also a great option. However, the resort might require more staffing, as some guests felt that the pool area was understaffed. Nevertheless, it was still a great family time and guests enjoyed all of the pools, the amazing lazy river and the marina. Needed to stay longer to realize all the amenities in the area.
