Rethymno Village is a three-star hotel that is highly recommended by its guests. While there is no fitness room, the all-inclusive buffet is a highlight with good and varied food, although some guests felt there could be more variation during their stay. The rooms offer small soap bars only without shampoo provided. Despite this, the hotel is considered to be of a high standard with some suggesting it should be a four-star hotel. The price is reasonable for what is on offer with good value for money. Guests who didn't expect miracles in a three-star hotel were pleasantly surprised with the quality of both the food and the drinks. Overall, the hotel offers a decent standard with good food and amenities for a three-star rated hotel, making it suitable for those on a budget.

Trefon Hotel Apartments and Family Suites provides basic facilities suitable for young families, according to guest reviews. However, no mention of the three-star rating was found. Some have reported that the hotel is aging, but the price-to-value ratio is reasonable. During the Covid period, the buffet was replaced with a limited-service provided behind plexiglass. Some guests have noted that the hotel is not worth its price, while others have found it to be a top accommodation for its price point.
