Calistoga Motor Lodge and Spa is a superb hotel that exceeds expectations with its exceptional service and amenities. While some complain about the overpriced rates, this motel offers facilities that are comparable to those of a 5-star hotel. Many guests rave about the comfortable rooms, great restaurant and newly expanded hotel. Though there are some quirks, this is a very nice and well-run motor lodge with very good reviews. Despite poor management, this four-star hotel earns rave reviews from guests who are impressed by its superb service and amenities, like a spa, pool and more. Don't be mislead by others who claim that it is a 2-star motel masquerading as a 4-star hotel - this is a top-notch destination that is well worth your visit.
