The SpringHill Suites By Marriott Salt Lake City West Valley is the perfect destination for a relaxing and fun-filled stay. The pool and Jacuzzi are open all day, allowing guests to unwind and soak in the amazing ambiance of the indoor pool. Guests have commended the hotel for its friendly staff, clean room and nice pool. Despite some guests feeling that the bed was a bit hard and the breakfast not up to Marriott's usual standards due to Covid-19 restrictions, they appreciated the hotel's effort to provide the best services possible. However, some guests experienced issues such as dirty pool water, no hot water in the morning and disturbing noise from the nearby freeway. Regardless, the in-door pool remained a highlight of guests' stays at the SpringHill Suites By Marriott.

Comfort Inn West Valley - Salt Lake City South features a mixed experience concerning its pool area. While guests appreciated having a pool and hot tub as enjoyable amenities, there are some aspects that drew both positive and critical attention. The pool, described as cool and fun, was enjoyed by many despite being small. The hot tub garnered praise for being perfect and nice, providing a pleasant complement to the pool area.
However, reports of a dated and at times dirty pool area were recurring in guest impressions, with some mentioning cold water and periods where the hot tub jets were not functioning. Additionally, the pool is not completely covered due to missing panels in the roof, and some guests noted concerns about the presence of shady individuals during the night. Despite these issues, the accommodating staff and the overall experience of having both a pool and hot tub available added a valuable touch to many visitors' stays.
