Perugia Plaza Hotel positions itself as a four-star establishment, but many reviews suggest that it feels more like a three-star experience. Guests commonly note that the hotel has an outdated and basic atmosphere, which doesn't align with the expectations that come with its star rating. While some guests appreciated booking their stay through promotions, feeling they received good value for their money, the general consensus indicates a need for modernization to truly meet four-star standards.
Concerns were raised about the lack of amenities typically expected at a hotel of this caliber, with mentions of missing items like slippers, a shower cap, and extra soap in rooms designed for two. The breakfast offerings and the restaurant experience have also been highlighted as falling short of four-star expectations, with some guests pointing out the disappointment of having drinks served from vending machines rather than at the table.
Pet policies also came under critique; instead of a fixed daily rate for pets, a one-time fee per stay was suggested to be more appropriate. In summary, while the Perugia Plaza Hotel provides reasonable prices through promotions, guests widely feel that with a few key improvements and updates, it could better fulfill its four-star promise.
