Location

The hotel is situated on a slight hill, but it is easily manageable to walk down to Ventura Shopong Center where there are souvenir shops, Burger King, a pharmacy and a Spar grocery store. From there, it's just a 300-meter walk to the promenade with shops, restaurants and bars. Although it is a bit of a steep walk back up to the hotel, taxis are readily available and fairly cheap. The hotel's position also affords guests with stunning views of the ocean. However, some guests caution that the hotel is quite isolated if you don’t want to walk or don't have a car and while the beach and town are not far, they are down a significant hill. Despite this, the location is considered strategic and well-situated and the peaceful scenery and wonderful views of the Atlantic Ocean make Occidental Jandía Mar a true paradise.
