Summary of reviews related to the '3 Star' category
Summarized by AI
Located in the charming town of Amboise, ibis Amboise presents itself as a three-star establishment, although some reviews suggest otherwise. The hotel offers fundamental amenities, but guests noted the absence of small touches typical of a three-star rating, like in-room kettles with tea and coffee. Staff performance is described as average and competent, but certain services fall short, such as the limited dining options relying on prepackaged or frozen meals due to the lack of a full kitchen for breakfast and dinner.
Moreover, the hotel shows signs of aging, with rooms perceived as old-fashioned and in need of renovation to meet contemporary three-star expectations. Despite these observations, the hotel still maintains a standard, albeit more aligned with a lower star rating for some visitors. This establishment may fit the needs of those prioritizing location and basic functionalities, but travelers seeking modern comforts might find the facilities wanting.
