Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Grand Eastonian Hotel & Suites in Easton is highly praised by guests for its prime location in the heart of Easton. Nestled in a beautiful historic building near a charming town square with water fountains, the hotel's centrality boasts convenience for exploring nearby shops, restaurants and local attractions such as the State Theatre and the Crayola Factory. Despite being centrally located, the hotel maintains a quiet and tranquil ambiance with hassle-free parking and delightful surrounding views.
Guest feedback on breakfast reveals mixed experiences. While some guests enjoyed items like eggs, potatoes and fruit, others found the breakfast offerings lacking in variety and quality with limited options for hot foods and gluten-free choices. Nonetheless, the possibility of enjoying breakfast on the rooftop terrace added a pleasant experience for some.
The spacious and clean rooms at the Grand Eastonian receive high marks, especially the well-equipped suites with living areas, kitchens and fireplaces. Guests appreciated the historic charm combined with modern decor, comfortable beds and the pristine condition of the accommodations. Minor drawbacks included dim lighting, limited closet hangers and the occasional small and basic regular room.
The hotel's cleanliness and friendly staff are consistently praised. Guests highlighted the spotless rooms, welcoming atmosphere and pleasant-smelling amenities. While there were isolated concerns about outdated facilities and lapses in cleanliness, the overall feedback remained positive. The exceptional customer service and knowledgeable staff, particularly at the front desk, contributed significantly to a warm and pleasant stay.
The saltwater pool at the hotel is a standout feature with guests enjoying its perfect temperature and indoor setting. Families found the pool especially pleasing, although occasional closures were noted. The fitness center received mixed reviews but was appreciated by several guests for its well-equipped space.
Families visiting the hotel found it to be an excellent choice for a weekend getaway with spacious two-bedroom apartments, full kitchens and dining areas. The inviting pool, delicious breakfast and proximity to family-friendly attractions like the Crayola Experience and a nearby playground added to the overall appeal for families.
Overall, the Grand Eastonian Hotel & Suites offers a blend of historical charm and modern conveniences, providing a comfortable and accessible stay with a family-friendly environment. The comfortable beds and accommodating staff further enhance the positive guest experience, making it a highly recommended destination in Easton.
