Ansi Villa enjoys an outstanding reputation among travelers for a variety of reasons, starting with its exceptional location. Nestled amid lush tea plantations and offering stunning views of the surrounding mountains and a nearby rail bridge, it provides both convenience and tranquility. The villa's proximity to the Nanu Oya train station makes it a prime spot for those planning to explore popular destinations like Ella and Kandy. Scenic attractions such as the picturesque Gassgauh Waterfall are easily accessible, adding to the allure of the setting.
Dining at Ansi Villa is a highlight for many, with guests frequently praising both the breakfast and dinner experiences. The breakfast is renowned for its abundant, delicious Sri Lankan offerings that include local favorites like coconut sambal and rice and curry, presented as a beautifully arranged feast. Although a few guests mentioned slight delays in service, the quality and variety more than make up for it. Dinner at the villa is equally impressive, offering generous portions of home-cooked meals with authentic Sri Lankan flavors. The friendly and accommodating hosts enhance these culinary experiences by catering to guest preferences and adding personal touches.
The accommodations at Ansi Villa are consistently reported to be both clean and comfortable. Guests appreciate the super clean and well-kept rooms, describing them as fragrant and hygienic. While the rooms may be on the smaller side, they are efficiently organized and equipped, ensuring a cozy stay. The comfortable beds and pillows contribute to a restful sleep, though some guests noted minor issues with temperature control. These are often offset by the hosts' warm hospitality and small gestures of welcome.
The villa's staff receives high praise for their friendliness, attentiveness, and commitment to guest comfort. This family-run establishment fosters a homey, welcoming atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience.
Ansi Villa also offers reliable Wi-Fi, with most guests positively commenting on its speed and effectiveness. While there have been occasional inconsistencies, the majority found it adequate for their needs.
