The Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa & Marina boasts a fantastic pool area with multiple options for relaxation and fun. Though it can get crowded at times, guests generally appreciate the family-friendly atmosphere and great activities. The pools themselves are large and offer plenty of lounging areas with both indoor and outdoor options. Kids especially love the waterslide, basketball net and frequent movie nights. The pool bar is also a hit among guests. Those looking for a more adult-oriented experience should note that some areas are designated for adults only, but options are limited. Unfortunately, some guests seem to have disregarded pandemic guidelines, causing concerns for others. Overall, the facilities are kept clean and well-manicured, but some areas around the outdoor pools are showing their age. While the infinity pool can be murky at times, the other pools are crystal clear. Some events may cause temporary closures or restrictions, but these are generally well-managed by the staff. All in all, the pools and views are beyond great, making for a memorable stay at the resort.
