At the Best Western Plus Hotel Am Schlossberg, guests traveling with their furry companions find the experience to be generally welcoming. Dogs, including dachshunds, receive a warm welcome from the attentive staff, who ensure that both human and canine guests are well taken care of throughout their stay. A special touch for the pups is the welcome package, complete with treats, a poop bag, and a map outlining the best walking routes nearby, which are appreciated by many pet owners.
However, there are some limitations to note. Dogs are not permitted to join their owners at breakfast, which might be inconvenient for those who prefer dining with their pets. There is also some criticism regarding the nightly pet fee, with some guests finding the €20 charge slightly steep given the hotel's somewhat outdated facilities and furnishings.
Despite these drawbacks, many guests express willingness to return, appreciating the overall pet-friendly nature of the hotel. The ability to travel with pets without hassle is a highlight, ensuring that dog owners can enjoy a relaxing stay alongside their beloved companions.
