Location
The Imperial, New Delhi is perfectly located in central Delhi with a metro station right outside and a 10-minute walk to Connaught Place. Despite the craziness of the city just meters away, guests describe the location as a perfect escape. The hotel is situated in a lovely location with a good garden and is very elegant and safe. It's an incredible, comfortable and elegant place, well situated and a great escape from the city. The property is centrally located, making it an excellent location for all the main sights and a fab market in walking distance. The hotel has great food and is a pleasant place in the heart of Delhi. It also offers parking, though some guests mentioned that raspberry smoke from the neighboring property sometimes makes the pool area uncomfortable. But that's just a minor issue when it comes to this great central location between Old Delhi and South Delhi. Other guests described the hotel as a very lovely, old-world India atmosphere that's definitely worth experiencing. Overall, The Imperial, New Delhi, is a great property situated in an excellent location that's perfect for exploring the heart of Delhi.

Breakfast
The Imperial in New Delhi offers a lovely and healthy breakfast experience, served in a beautiful setting. Guests can enjoy a great buffet breakfast with excellent food and drinks. The breakfast menu is delicious and Joseph, the finest chef in India, prepares outstanding omelettes that guests rave about. The 1911 restaurant is fantastic and serves an excellent breakfast with a nice spread. However, some guests feel that the breakfast courses can be the same every day and that there are limited healthy options and the pastries could be better. The staff is lovely and despite some restrictions, the breakfast is pretty good. The only downside is the limited variety of options for breakfast. Overall, guests are pleased with their breakfast experience at the Imperial.

Dinner
If you're looking for great dinner options during your stay in New Delhi, be sure to check out the restaurants at The Imperial. Guests have raved about the butter chicken and gin cocktails at 1911 and the tasty food and friendly waiters at Spice Route and other downstairs restaurants. While some guests noted that the staff could be indifferent to requests outside of dinner, they found the service during dining to be pretty friendly. However, there were a few negative comments, such as the need for improvement in the food at the South Asian restaurant and poor experiences at 1911 and during a terrace dinner. It's worth noting that some of the restaurants may be closed due to COVID-19 restrictions and lack of customers. That being said, overall, the restaurants at The Imperial come highly recommended by guests with one even calling them "stupendi e cibo ottimo" (amazing restaurants and great food). Don't miss out on experiencing the fantastic dinner options during your stay, as well as the excellent buffet breakfast.
