The buffet includes an impressive selection of fruits, juices, pastries and more substantial items like scrambled eggs. The friendly and prompt service in the breakfast room enhances the positive dining experience.
The dinner experience garners mixed reviews. Many guests praise the restaurant's elegant ambiance, varied and high-quality dishes and reasonable prices. However, there are occasional critiques about limited menu choices, poorly prepared dishes and small portions.
Rooms are generally spacious, clean and comfortable with modern amenities like large smart TVs. Many offer beautiful landscape or poolside views. Despite some furnishings showing wear and occasional condensation issues, the newer rooms are noted for their modern style and functionality. Cleanliness is a significant plus, though minor lapses in detailed cleaning exist.
The staff receives high praise for their friendliness, courtesy and readiness to assist. The reception team is particularly noted for its efficiency and professionalism with similar positive sentiments extending to the spa and restaurant personnel.
Wi-Fi is generally efficient throughout the property with smart TVs in rooms offering additional entertainment options. The spa offers a range of facilities, including whirlpools, saunas, steam baths and thermal pools. While the spa is well-kept and relaxing, some guests note issues like cold water in whirlpools and overcrowding.
The pool area includes both outdoor and indoor options with the outdoor pool being particularly praised for its beauty and maintenance. The indoor pool receives mixed feedback, deemed small and sometimes noisy by some guests. Both pool areas are well-maintained, offering a relaxing environment, although the early closing time of 5:00 pm is noted as a limitation.
Parking is highly satisfactory with extensive options including free garage parking, covered areas and private garages. The comfort and spaciousness of the beds receive consistent praise, although a few guests find the comfort occasionally inconsistent.
Although some guests believe the hotel does not entirely meet four-star standards, it is generally described as a clean, suitable choice for short stays. Lastly, the Grand Hotel Admiral Palace shines as a romantic destination, celebrated for its suite amenities, spa facilities, panoramic views and romantic atmosphere, making it a favored choice for couples.
