Hotel Seelust consistently impresses guests with its unbeatable beachfront location right on the Baltic Sea. The serene setting, characterized by stunning sea views and the soothing sound of waves, enhances the guest experience immensely. The hotel's proximity to the city center, harbor and scenic promenade makes it an ideal choice for beach lovers and explorers alike, offering a perfect blend of natural beauty and convenient access to local attractions.
The breakfast at Hotel Seelust is a highlight with an extensive, high-quality buffet that caters to varied tastes. Fresh items like salmon, rolls, bacon, fruits and vegetables are frequently mentioned as delightful and plentiful. Guests particularly enjoy dining in the picturesque setting, either in the breakfast room or on the terrace overlooking the Baltic Sea. The staff's friendly and courteous service further enhances the breakfast experience.
While there is no on-site restaurant for dinner, guests find ample dining options nearby. The hotel's pet-friendly policy, including provisions for dogs, adds to its appeal, especially for those traveling with pets.
Guest rooms receive high praise for their tasteful, modern décor, cleanliness and spaciousness. The stunning views of the bay and beach from many rooms, coupled with the unique design of the beach chair beds, contribute to a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Minor concerns include some outdated furnishings and a few isolated cleanliness issues, but these do not overshadow the overall positive feedback on room quality.
Cleanliness across the hotel is consistently noted with spotless rooms and well-maintained common areas being a standard. The cleaning staff is commended for their thoroughness, ensuring a high standard of hygiene throughout the establishment.
The staff at Hotel Seelust plays a crucial role in enhancing the guest experience with their exceptional friendliness and helpfulness. Guests consistently describe the staff as accommodating, polite and attentive, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere from check-in to check-out.
Free Wi-Fi is available, although the connectivity is often problematic with reports of slow speeds and unreliable connections. Improvements in this area would significantly enhance the convenience for business travelers and those needing reliable internet access.
Parking at the hotel is mostly convenient with free spaces available, although availability can be limited at times. The provision of electric vehicle charging points is a notable plus.
The beds are generally well-received for their comfort and unique design, although opinions on mattress firmness vary. The light-tight curtains enhance the sleeping experience, allowing guests to enjoy restful nights.
As a three-star hotel, Hotel Seelust offers great value for its quality and pricing. It meets and often exceeds the expectations of a three-star rating, especially in terms of room quality and breakfast service. However, accessibility could be improved, as not all areas are wheelchair-friendly and the occasional elevator issues can pose challenges.
Hotel Seelust is highly recommended for dog owners with generous pet-friendly policies and nearby dog-friendly beaches. The thoughtful touches for dogs, like treats and bowls, along with the reasonable daily fee, make it a popular choice for travelers with pets.
Overall, Hotel Seelust provides a charming and comfortable beachfront getaway with excellent service, beautiful views and a welcoming atmosphere.
