Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Le Relais De Marrakech is a serene oasis located just outside the bustling city of Marrakech, offering a tranquil escape amidst lush greenery and a beautiful swimming pool. The picturesque setting near the palm grove provides a charming and exotic environment, ideal for those seeking a peaceful retreat after exploring the lively Medina. The hotel's outdoor layout with plenty of shady spots and a cozy atmosphere, further enhances its allure.
Despite some challenges with access due to an unpaved gravel path and unreliable bus service, the friendly staff and overall comfort and cleanliness of the facilities make up for these inconveniences. The breakfast receives mixed reviews with many guests praising its quality, affordability and local specialties, though some find it repetitive and lacking in variety. Dinner is largely praised for its delicious food, friendly staff and pleasant terrace setting, although high prices and small portion sizes were noted concerns.
Accommodations include attractively decorated tents, bungalows and suites with positive remarks about family rooms and proximity to the pool area. However, cleanliness issues such as old mattresses, unsanitary bathrooms and the presence of bugs have been highlighted as areas needing improvement. The absence of air conditioning in some accommodations also affected comfort during warmer months.
The staff at Le Relais De Marrakech are consistently commended for their exceptional friendliness, responsiveness and professionalism, contributing to a warm and hospitable environment. Many guests appreciate the charm and helpfulness of everyone, from the cleaning agents to the food service and security staff, making their stay enjoyable and memorable.
The hotel's Wi-Fi receives mixed feedback with some reporting strong connections in the pool area, while others experienced weak or non-existent signals in their rooms. The large, well-maintained swimming pool is a standout feature, praised for its cleanliness, pleasant warmth and tranquil surroundings, offering a refreshing escape from the Marrakech heat.
Overall, Le Relais De Marrakech offers good value for money with its tranquil setting and excellent pool, though guests should be aware of certain limitations regarding access, cleanliness and amenities.
