At the Amsterdam Hotel Pool & SPA, guests have shared varied experiences regarding the pool facilities. Many lauded the pool as a wonderful spot for relaxation, often describing it as clean, cozy and well-maintained. The pool's warm water received positive remarks and the inclusion of massage jets enhanced the tranquil experience, although the waterfall feature was noted as non-functional by some. Families enjoyed the pool as well with children particularly having a good time.
However, a recurring mention was the pool's size, which many found to be quite small and often crowded. This diminutive size made it less suitable for swimming and more for casual dipping and relaxation. Additionally, the presence of strong chlorine fumes was a concern for some.
While some guests appreciated the free access to the pool provided with certain bookings, others were less thrilled about the additional fees charged for pool usage, considering it somewhat pricey. There were also complaints about the pool water being colder than expected on several occasions.
The spa area accompanying the pool received compliments for its relaxing ambiance, including amenities like the sauna and Turkish bath, though some facilities were occasionally reported as out of order or closed for maintenance.
Overall, despite some drawbacks, such as size and additional charges, the pool and spa area at Amsterdam Hotel Pool & SPA are generally seen as a well-maintained, pleasant retreat, ideal for unwinding after a busy day in the city.
