12th Avenue has received positive reviews, especially for its noteworthy location and exceptional staff, making it a favored choice for many guests visiting Lahore. Situated near the Daewoo Express Terminal and easily accessible via Canal Road, the hotel offers excellent convenience for business travelers and those needing easy access to public transport. The tranquil environment, spacious grounds and a homely atmosphere further enhance its appeal, providing a peaceful retreat despite its urban location. Safety, privacy and cleanliness are consistent themes in guest feedback, aligning with a reasonable pricing structure and the commendable service of the accommodating staff.
The breakfast experience at 12th Avenue has room for improvement despite having several fans. While the dishes such as eggs, jam, toast and chai are praised, some guests have encountered long waiting times and confusion regarding pre-orders for breakfast. The hotel management's attentiveness, including personal inquiries by the manager, is a positive note, even though the variety of options could be expanded.
The rooms at 12th Avenue have garnered high marks for their cleanliness and modern facilities. Guests describe the rooms as spacious, comfortable and well-maintained with effective air-conditioning in most cases. The modern design and overall good aura contribute to a boutique hotel feel. Despite occasional issues with room readiness and front desk contact, the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms are consistent highlights.
Cleanliness within the hotel overall is a mixed bag. Many guests appreciate the clean rooms and bathrooms, along with recently renovated spaces that enhance the property’s atmosphere. However, there have been reports of insufficient housekeeping practices, discrepancies in room equipment and isolated instances of mosquitoes. While many find the property clean, it is evident that improvements in housekeeping could elevate guest satisfaction further.
The staff at 12th Avenue is a standout feature, receiving high praise for their friendliness, cooperation and helpfulness. Specific staff members like Nadeem and Junaid have left lasting positive impressions. The security personnel and the accommodating owners add to the overall sense of hospitality and safety. The presence of the owners' dogs provides a unique and charming touch to the atmosphere.
However, the bedding experience presents some challenges. While winter linen and quilts are appreciated during colder seasons, issues with noise, hardness and infrequent changing of bed sheets detract from the overall comfort. Some guests have reported stained sheets and broken bed frames, indicating significant room for improvement in both comfort and cleanliness.
In summary, 12th Avenue excels with its prime location, accommodating staff and clean, modern rooms, making it a top choice for many travelers. However, enhancements in breakfast service, housekeeping and bedding quality would further boost guest satisfaction and overall experience.

When it comes to hotels, having a functioning swimming pool is often a big selling point for guests. At HOTEL dGATES, the pool is definitely a highlight with its large size and active atmosphere. Guests have raved about the pool, enjoying the beauty of the pool side and the fun experience of swimming. Unfortunately, there have been times when the pool was unavailable with some guests reporting that it was out of service for the season or not functioning at all. It would be helpful for the hotel to communicate beforehand if the pool is closed, as some guests were disappointed that they were not informed ahead of time. Despite these issues, the functional pool has received high praise and is certainly something to look forward to during your stay at HOTEL dGATES.
