The pool at Grand Royal Hotel receives mixed feedback from guests with many positive notes highlighting its appealing aspects. The swimming pool is often described as nice, pleasant, clean and well-maintained and appreciated by both adults and children. There are amenities like the sauna and gym that complement the pool area, making it a relaxing space enhanced by pleasant music. Some guests particularly enjoyed the indoor heated pool, referencing it as refreshing and excellent.
However, there are recurring mentions of the pool being smaller than expected and often crowded, which can detract from the experience. Cold water is another frequent complaint, as well as the strong smell of chlorine. Interestingly, while some guests found the pool perfect for kids due to its smaller size, others felt it was too small and shallow for the number of guests.
Issues of cleanliness and maintenance appear sporadically with mentions of significant wear and tear and the occasional closure of the pool. Despite these drawbacks, the pool is generally regarded as a positive feature, contributing to the overall satisfaction with the hotel's amenities.
