Biltmore Hotel was built in 1926 but quite a few ghosts have found a home in its premises. A little after its opening, a mobster was murdered in the hotel and his spirit is still seen wandering around, especially close to the lady guests. During the Second World War, the hotel was used as a hospital and ghosts of the injured soldiers who were housed there have been seen on various floors.
