Hotel San Pancrazio in Bergamo is widely praised for its prime location, which balances accessibility with tranquility. Guests appreciate being just 15 to 20 minutes from Bergamo Airport and the serene, green surroundings offer a peaceful retreat from urban life. The hotel's proximity to attractions such as Lake Endine, Lake Iseo, Milan and Verona enhances its appeal. Despite needing a car for easy exploration, the area is well-connected to main roads and highways.
The breakfast experience at Hotel San Pancrazio is well-received with positive notes on its rich, varied and abundant offerings that cater to different tastes. Buffet-style servings include sweet and savory options with a standout service from staff like Mrs. Gabriella. However, there is room for improvement, especially in diversifying the selection and maintaining quality control.
Dinners at the on-site restaurant consist of delicious local dishes with praised options like pizzas from the bar. Although the food quality is high, the menu's limited variety and higher price point can present challenges. Advanced booking is necessary and when the restaurant is closed, staff assist with alternative arrangements.
Room quality elicits both commendations and critiques. While many guests find the rooms spacious, clean and well-furnished, there are mentions of outdated interiors and maintenance issues. Cleanliness is generally high, though sometimes inconsistent. Noise levels can be problematic due to thin walls and beds receive mixed reviews for comfort.
Cleanliness across the hotel is frequently highlighted as impressive, contributing to a positive guest experience. The staff earns high marks for their kindness, attentiveness and multilingual abilities, adding to the hotel's welcoming atmosphere. While there are occasional behavioral inconsistencies, the overall sentiment towards the staff remains highly favorable.
The hotel’s free WiFi is generally reliable and fast, much to guests' satisfaction. Parking facilities receive positive feedback for being large, secure and free of charge, enhancing the convenience for those traveling by car.
Hotel San Pancrazio is noted for its family-friendly amenities, including playgrounds and spacious rooms. The staff's language skills and the accommodating atmosphere make it a suitable choice for families. However, some guests find the hotel too small for extended family stays.
Although the beds' comfort level varies, the majority of guests enjoy a good night's sleep in spacious and clean accommodations. As a three-star establishment, Hotel San Pancrazio is recognized for offering good value for money, though some believe it needs better maintenance and partial renovations. Overall, the hotel remains a recommended option, particularly for those seeking convenient and affordable accommodations near the airport.
