Alquileres Temporarios by CLH Rentals offers a practical and affordable base in the heart of Buenos Aires, with many guests praising its prime location close to city attractions. Despite being a mid-range accommodation, it generally meets the essential needs of travelers, often highlighted as a good cost-benefit choice. The hotel features a pleasant pool area, although amenities like a refrigerator and breakfast are notably absent. Guests often note a satisfactory quality-price ratio, underscoring it as an ideal place for travelers looking for value rather than luxuries.
While comfort is generally appreciated, some aspects, such as the softness of the pillows and outdated furniture, might detract from the experience for some visitors. Esmeralda Palace Hotel offers a budget-friendly stay with a good balance of price and quality. Guests appreciate the great value proposition, describing their experiences as calm and pleasant and noting that it feels like a higher-rated hotel. The accommodations are particularly in line with the price, resulting in a satisfactory experience for those looking for economical options.
However, there is a significant discrepancy regarding its three-star rating. Many reviews suggest the hotel falls short of this standard with some guests even comparing it to a two-star establishment. Specifically, criticisms point to the outdated conditions of the hotel and its ongoing construction. Additionally, the breakfast offering was seen as subpar, providing only minimal choices. While the hotel might lack the amenities of a true three-star hotel, it compensates with its competitive pricing, making it an attractive choice for budget-conscious travelers.

Gran Hotel Buenos Aires is an older establishment with a central location, offering services that generally meet the expectations of a three-star hotel. Although the building and facilities show significant signs of age with dated bathrooms and fixtures, the hotel maintains a basic level of cleanliness. Guests have noted that the hotel requires maintenance and renovations to address various issues, as some areas appear neglected and in disrepair.
Despite the outdated conditions, the hotel's service receives positive mentions, often surpassing what one might expect from a three-star rating. While the breakfast quality has been criticized for not meeting typical three-star standards, the overall experience is considered acceptable given the hotel's pricing.
