The parking is convenient and readily available with ample secure spaces, making it easy to reach by car. Guests found the on-site and underground parking to be practical and spacious, providing a sense of security.
Additionally, the clear information provided by the hotel staff simplifies the parking process, contributing to a satisfactory experience for most visitors. Being able to park in the same building adds to the convenience and ease of access.
However, the cost of parking is a recurring concern. Many guests noted that the parking fees are high with the daily charge being 25 CHF. Woods Genève-Thoiry offers the convenience of a large and secure parking lot, which guests appreciate for its free access. During the day, finding a spot is generally easy with more than enough parking spaces to accommodate visitors. The location is great value for money, especially considering the complimentary parking provided.
However, the hotel's proximity to a popular restaurant presents some challenges during peak dining hours, particularly around lunchtime and in the evenings. Guests often report difficulty finding an available spot after 7:00 PM or during meal times, as the influx of restaurant patrons can overwhelm the parking lot. Some reviewers have suggested that the hotel reserve specific spaces for guests to alleviate this issue.
Overall, outside of these peak times, parking does not pose a significant problem and guests can expect a hassle-free experience with the ample parking space available during less busy hours.
