Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
Red Roof Inn & Suites Newburgh - Stewart Airport West Point enjoys a favorable reputation among guests, primarily due to its exceptional location, cleanliness and staff service. The hotel is ideally situated near major highways and the airport, making it highly accessible and perfect for various activities and trips. Guests appreciate its proximity to West Point, scenic lake views and convenient access to shopping centers and restaurants, including Walmart. The availability of a free shuttle service further adds to its appeal.
Rooms at the hotel are frequently highlighted for their cleanliness, spaciousness and comfort. Guests find the rooms well-kept, quiet and a pleasant retreat after a day's activities. The comfort of the beds, in particular, receives high praise, contributing significantly to the restful experience. Despite occasional mentions of minor issues like dampness and odors, the overall sentiment remains positive with the beautiful lake view enhancing the stay.
Cleanliness stands out as a prominent feature of the hotel with both the rooms and shared spaces maintained to a high standard. Guests consistently note the updated and comfortable arrangements, augmented by the exceptional service provided by the staff. The hotel team is commended for their friendliness, efficiency and attentiveness, often going above and beyond to ensure guest satisfaction.
However, breakfast options at the hotel receive mixed reviews. Although the provision of breakfast bags during the pandemic — featuring items like granola bars, muffins, fruit and drinks — was appreciated, some guests found them too basic and lacking in variety.
In essence, Red Roof Inn & Suites Newburgh - Stewart Airport West Point is celebrated for its strategic location, immaculate cleanliness, comfortable beds and outstanding staff service, making it a recommended choice for travelers seeking a comfortable and convenient stay.
