Savoy Hotel is a great option for those looking for an affordable and clean hotel experience. The value for money is excellent and the facilities are on par with 4-star hotels. However, some guests were disappointed that the rooms were a little outdated and not up to the expectations of the Savoy name. Some even found the place unclean. Although the rooms were described as plain or outdated and not as advertised, the hotel's location was praised as being convenient. Additionally, the hotel staff was found to be friendly and attentive with a reception that is open 24/7. Cavo D' Oro is a charming hotel with a long history and personality that some guests really appreciated. While the facilities may be a bit old, the hotel's view was something guests felt they would return for. The rooms were generally clean with the downside being some cigarette smells and some guests found the showers a bit small. However, for the price, guests felt they couldn't complain. The hotel's location above the harbor was also appreciated by guests. Some felt that the hotel needed investment and a massive renovation, as it was stuck in the past with outdated furniture and old beds, but others appreciated the historical charm. Lastly, while the eco-rooms were not popular, the hotel was considered passable for a short stay.
