Many guests liken the quality of the food to a Michelin-star level, highlighting the reasonable pricing and exquisite local wines as additional draws.
Accommodations at Borgo La Capraia are spacious, clean, and cozy, with rustic stone houses adding to the charm. While some rooms have slightly outdated interiors and issues like hard mattresses, the overall atmosphere is welcoming. Guests appreciate the fully equipped kitchens in some units, although a few note minor inconveniences like minimally stocked utensils and occasional bug sightings.
Cleanliness is emphasized throughout the property, with the pool area particularly noted for its stunning views and inviting sun loungers. While minor maintenance issues exist, the overall commitment to cleanliness remains evident. The outstanding hospitality of staff, notably hosts Oscar and Viola, receives significant praise. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and personalized touches create a warm, family-like atmosphere that greatly contributes to the overall experience.
The pool area receives enthusiastic feedback, with two well-maintained pools offering an exquisite setting against the backdrop of surrounding greenery. Despite occasional weather challenges and minor cleanliness criticisms, the pool area is celebrated as a tranquil escape, perfect for relaxation and leisure.
