Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
College Inn is favored for its strategic location, offering guests easy access to Western Oregon University and the heart of town along Hwy 99. Its proximity to local attractions, parks, dining options, and even Salem for wider exploration ensures a convenient stay with excellent summer rates, adding to its value proposition. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, complemented by a seamless check-in process and friendly service, fostering an enjoyable experience for many visitors.
Though there have been mixed reviews regarding the rooms, many guests find them quiet and spacious, suitable for a restful stay. Cleanliness is generally satisfactory, with staff willing to accommodate late check-ins, highlighting a commendable level of customer service. However, improvement in some amenities and maintenance could enhance overall guest satisfaction.
While the cleanliness of the hotel varies, some rooms maintain a comfortable level of tidiness. The staff is often praised for their exceptional hospitality, being friendly, and willing to assist with every need, from local insights to amended travel plans. The dedication they exhibit, especially the manager’s welcoming nature and the housekeeping team’s commitment, sets a warm and inviting atmosphere, even if minor issues occasionally arise with certain staff members.
Several guests commend the beds for their comfort, contributing to a good night's sleep supported by features like blackout shades. Despite some experiencing the beds as too firm, many find the bedding acceptable, offering a restful experience overall.
In summary, College Inn provides good value through its prime location and attentive staff, ensuring guests feel relaxed and cared for during their stay, with room for improvement in certain areas to enhance overall satisfaction.
