Summary of reviews
Summarized by AI
The Crystal Crown Hotel Harbour View in Port Klang receives positive recognition for its strategic location, providing easy access to key areas such as the Cruise Terminal and major highways. Guests appreciate the convenience and quietness of the area, as well as the reasonable pricing and nearby park for leisurely walks. Although its distance from central business areas may not suit work-related stays, it proves to be an excellent choice for leisure activities and hassle-free travel.
The breakfast offerings receive mixed reviews. Many guests enjoy a varied and delicious spread, highlighting the breakfast buffet as a standout feature. However, some feel the selections could be more diverse with specific complaints about repetitive and tasteless local dishes, as well as tough fried chicken. The breakfast's value for money is also questioned by a few.
Room quality receives mostly favorable feedback, especially the spaciousness and comfort of the junior suites, making them ideal for families. Many rooms have been refurbished and are described as excellent, clean and comfortable with nice views adding to the appeal. However, some criticisms arise regarding worn-out bedding, old and run-down rooms, rust spots in tubs and improperly cleaned toilets, indicating a need for maintenance improvements.
Cleanliness is another area with mixed feedback. While many guests praise the clean and tidy rooms, there are complaints about smelly rooms due to old carpets, stained sheets, dusty areas, grimy bathtubs, sticky floors and unclean furniture, highlighting the need for better upkeep and bathroom upgrades.
The staff at Crystal Crown Hotel Harbour View consistently receive commendation for their friendly, helpful and warm hospitality, greatly enhancing guests' experiences. Receptionists are particularly praised for their prompt assistance and transportation arrangements. Although there are a few isolated incidents of unfriendly interactions, the overall sentiment is very positive.
Free wifi at the hotel garners mixed reviews. Some guests report a good signal, while others experience slow, unstable or non-working connectivity with issues sometimes attributed to the internet service provider's infrastructure.
Parking facilities are generally well-regarded with easy access, spaciousness, safety and polite assistance from staff. Some minor inconveniences include the car park's narrowness and the need to park in another building before reaching the lobby, but the affordability and relevance of the parking rates contribute positively to the overall experience.
