Casa da Si Hostel is highly favored for its prime location in the heart of Ubatuba, offering guests easy access to the vibrant city’s amenities, shops, and bus lines. Its proximity to the commercial center and Itaguá beach allows visitors to fully immerse themselves in the local culture and attractions, while the safe and comfortable neighborhood contributes to a carefree experience. The exemplary hospitality of Simoni, the owner, known for her friendly nature and helpful tips, enhances the welcoming family atmosphere, ensuring guests feel well-placed for their Ubatuba adventures.
Guests consistently praise the hostel’s exceptional cleanliness and organized environment. The impeccably maintained spaces, including notably clean bathrooms, foster a comforting sense of hygiene and serenity throughout the property. Many visitors appreciate the hostel’s commitment to daily cleaning routines, providing a tidy and inviting atmosphere despite occasional suggestions for improvement in room cleanliness. The well-structured environment ensures all essential needs are met, offering a safe and comfortable stay.
The staff at Casa da Si Hostel are renowned for their exceptional hospitality. Simone and Si, the owners, are frequently commended for their warm, attentive, and welcoming demeanor, making guests feel right at home. Their dedication to prioritizing guests' needs and providing assistance when required creates a memorable and inviting environment. Simone is often praised for her engaging personality and genuine care, while Si's kindness and helpfulness significantly enhance the overall experience. The couple’s incredible hospitality and polite reception foster a welcoming atmosphere that consistently leaves a positive impression.
While the hostel offers a welcoming atmosphere, some guests have noted challenges concerning the sleeping arrangements. The beds are described as uncomfortable, with mattresses that could benefit from upgrading. The close placement of bunk beds can restrict movement, especially in rooms at capacity. Overcrowding and limited facilities, such as shared bathrooms, lead to extended waiting times and inconsistent cleanliness. The presence of a fan helps mitigate the room's warmth, but overall space and bed configuration could be improved to elevate the hostel experience.
