The beach is child-friendly and it takes just five minutes to get there even with a toddler. The sea is crystal clear in the morning, a bit less so in the afternoon due to the weather/tides, but it's still great for children to play in. The sand may be mixed with earth due to the proximity of the pine forest, but it's still very clean. The beach has plenty of space and lots of sun beds and the sun beds are free if you get one drink. The beach is ideal for children with nearly no waves or currents and the first 20-30m in the ocean are perfect for smaller kids. There are a few steps to reach the beach on foot and the sand-strand is easily accessible and clean. The hotel is situated in a great location just a few steps from the beach and it's a lovely family hotel that is also appropriate for couples who want a relaxing holiday next to a beautiful beach. However, the beach in front of the hotel isn't the best and one has to go up and down a lot of stairs to reach it on foot, but it's worth it. In short, if you're looking for a hotel near the beach, Philoxenia Hotel is an excellent choice.
