Summarized by AI
Astana Hotel enjoys a prime location that receives high praise for its convenience and centrality. With easy access to public transport, supermarkets, shops and cafes, the hotel places guests near the city center and notable landmarks, making getting around simple and efficient. The area is well-developed and offers plenty of amenities, including restaurants and ATMs. Although some guests have concerns about safety, most appreciate the hotel’s accessibility and the variety of services available nearby.
The breakfast experience at Astana Hotel is generally well-received with guests describing it as delicious, hearty and a good start to the day. The breakfast, often served at a nearby restaurant, is noted for its taste and quality, despite occasional complaints about lacking variety and early end times. Guests frequently mention the convenience of the breakfast voucher system and overall, breakfast is considered a highlight of their stay.
Astana Hotel offers budget-friendly accommodations with spacious rooms and amenities like private bathrooms and cozy interiors. While the rooms are generally roomy and comfortable, the hotel struggles with maintenance and cleanliness. Issues such as outdated furniture, cleanliness deficiencies and noise are common complaints. Positive feedback highlights helpful and friendly staff, who contribute significantly to the guest experience despite the hotel's age-related wear and tear.
Cleanliness appears to be a major area of concern with reports of pervasive issues including cockroaches, dirty conditions, worn-out bedding and unpleasant odors. Although some guests mention clean rooms and polite staff, the overall feedback indicates a pressing need for improved sanitation and maintenance.
The staff at Astana Hotel are often praised for their friendliness and responsiveness. Many guests commend the helpfulness and politeness of both the reception and cleaning staff, though there are instances of language barriers and inconsistent guest experiences with the staff's demeanor.
The nighttime atmosphere around the hotel can be lively, particularly on weekends, due to a restaurant with loud music and a karaoke bar operating into the early hours. While this adds a fun element for some, it also results in significant noise that can disturb more noise-sensitive guests.
The beds receive mixed reviews. While some guests find them comfortable with clean mattresses and large beds, others encounter issues such as dirty linens, stained pillows and split mattresses, coupled with inadequate soundproofing.
In summary, Astana Hotel offers an excellent location and an overall good breakfast experience but faces notable challenges related to cleanliness, maintenance and noise management. The staff's friendliness adds to the appeal, but prospective guests should be prepared for potential inconveniences due to the hotel’s upkeep and vibrant nocturnal environment.
