The children's pool at Fiesta Americana Hacienda Ixtapan de La Sal has a mixed set of reviews. On the positive side, it is described as very good, featuring kid-friendly amenities such as a slide and generally having a good temperature. The hotel also offers great areas for children, such as pedal go-karts and specifically designated children's areas, which are appreciated by families.

Loose tiles were frequently mentioned as a problem, causing discomfort and the need for immediate fixing. At times, the children's pool was closed, which disappointed some guests. Overall, while the pool is generally well-received for its fun aspects, it requires attention to maintenance and temperature control to enhance the experience fully.
